Offensive Coordinator
Kelly Edwards
Kelly is entering his 13th year of coaching and his ninth year at Foothill College. This will be his third year as the owls offensive coordinator.
After finishing his playing career at wide receiver he received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at San Jose State. He then received his masters degree from National University in 2001.
Kelly and his wife Aimee live in San Jose and are the proud parents of their two year old son Lucca.

Running Back Coach
Tony Kelly
Tony Kelly will be entering his 6th year coaching running backs at Foothill. In addition to coaching football, Coach Kelly serves as an assistant for the physical education department. He played at Foothill in 1991. Prior coaching experience includes: Santa Clara High from 1997-2000 and Menlo Atherton High from 2001 to 2003.
Tony currently resides in Menlo Park with his wife Arlena who are proud parents of their one year old son Huck. Arlena is a history teacher at Gunn High School in Palo Alto.

Receiver Coach
Greg Lester
Greg is entering his 2nd year coaching the receivers here at Foothill. Greg played receiver at Chaffey College there after received a scholarship to play at Eastern Oregon. He owns a private contractors business here in the south bay. Greg lives in Willow Glen with his wife Cheryl and his daughter Lindsey.

Offensive Line Coach
Matt Raivio
Matt is in his 5th year of coaching and will be his third at Foothill. Matt coaches the Offensive line and Tight Ends. Previous to Foothill he was at Northern Arizona University working with the strength and conditioning department and the offensive line.
Matt was a member of the 2000 and 2001 owl football teams before he transferred to Northern Arizona where he earned All-American honors by his senior year. After completing his bachelor degree in Sociology he went on to spend a year with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League. Upon completing the season he returned to Northern Arizona to receive his masters in Education.
Matt currently resides in Palo Alto.

Receivers Coach
Nate Ramezane
Nate is entering his 3rd year of coaching receivers with Foothill. Nate was born and raised in San Jose, graduated from Leland High School in 2000 where he excelled as a 3 sport athlete (baseball, basketball, and football), and then played at Foothill in 2001 and 2002.
Nate played both wide receiver and free safety earning All-conference honors as a wide receiver in '01 and as a free safety in '02. Nate earned a scholarship to UC Davis where he played out his last couple of years for the Aggies 34th and 35th consecutive winning seasons.
Nate graduated from UC Davis with his BA in Communications while minoring in Sociology with an emphasis on Law and Society. He is currently completing his Masters in Education with National University, and will begin his first year as a Physical Education teacher at Lawson Middle School in Cupertino this fall.
Nate currently resides in San Jose.

Defensive Back Coach
Tyrone Peace
Tyrone is entering his 2nd season as the Owls defensive backs coach. Tyrone was born in San Francisco and raised in the east bay. He attended De Anza High School of Richmond. Tyrone came to Foothill in 1988 and was an all conference defensive back.
Out of Foothill he received a scholarship to CSU Chico where he excelled as a defensive back and kick returner. After Chico, Tyrone played in the Arena league for five seasons with the San Jose Sabercats.

Linebackers Coach
Marc Saguid
Marc is in his 3rd year coaching linebackers at Foothill College. Marc was previously the defensive coordinator at Los Altos High school where they won a league title and a CCS playoff berth finishing with a 10-2 record.
Marc Saguid was a member of the 2001 and 2002 foothill college teams in which he played linebacker. He went on to play at Menlo College from 2003 to 2006.
Marc currently resides in Mountain View.

Assistant Athletic Trainer
Michelle Schukraft, ATC
Michelle begins her 4th season at Foothill College as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Foothill College. She was raised in Durham, CA but came to San Jose to earn her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from San Jose State University.
Prior to joining the Foothill Sports Medicine Staff, Michelle worked as a Head Athletic Trainer at Evergreen Valley High School for two years and has been the Head Athletic Trainer for the San Jose Stealth the professional lacrosse team in the Bay Area for the past four years.
